Electricity coming from the sun is considered to be one of the most promising and environment-friendly electricity source. It is unique among the new sources due to several energy and non-energy advantages. Owing to its enormous potential being a result of direct conversion of ubiquitous solar radiation into electricity, that technology can become a serious alternative to fossil fuels. Therefore, it is an effective way of ensuring supply of "clean" electric power in both developed and developing countries without worrying about safety of supplies or environmental pollution. Hence, photovoltaic power plants fit perfectly into international, national, regional and local power and ecological programs or projects.

The project being executed by PEG,  through the use of state-of-the art technologies, will definitely improve the energy balance of Lubuskie Voivodeship and will contribute considerably to the reduction of emissions into the air of substances harming the environment.

The above statements are confirmed by the fact that PEG's mission and objectives fully comply with Krośnieński Poviat Sustainable Development Strategy, Krośnieński Poviat Environmental Protection Program, Lubuskie Voivodeship Development Strategy, Lubuskie Voivodeship Environmental Protection Program and Poland's energy strategy until the year 2030.
